Sally Woods - Lawyer
Sally worked in a general litigation team with a Dunedin firm prior to joining Cook Westenra Ltd in 2013. Sally has a particular passion for Care of Children Act, Children Young Persons and their Families Act, Mental Health Act and Protection Orders.
Sally was born in Whangarei and returned in 2013. Sally was educated at the University of Otago and as well as an LLB, has a BA (in art history) and post graduate social work qualifications.
Prior to training as a lawyer, Sally worked as a care and protection social worker both in New Zealand and overseas. As a social worker, Sally was often in Court and this led her to develop an interest in legal processes and family law.
